The First Oven Fires Up

Dion's opens its very first location on 4th Street NW in Albuquerque. A family of five runs the entire operation, serving hand-tossed pizza to their neighborhood with pride and a whole lot of heart.

1980

Expanding Across Albuquerque

With soaring demand and a fiercely loyal customer base, Dion's opens four new locations throughout Albuquerque. The signature green chile topping becomes a local sensation and a New Mexico staple.

1990

Ranch Dressing Revolution

Dion's introduces its legendary house-made ranch dressing — now a fan favorite ordered by the bottle. This decade also marks the launch of our beloved Caesar salad, still made fresh daily.

2003

Into Santa Fe & Beyond

Dion's crosses city limits, opening locations in Santa Fe and Rio Rancho. The brand's commitment to community deepens with the launch of the Dion's Education Fund, supporting local schools and student programs.

2015

Digital Innovation

Dion's launches online ordering and its first mobile app, making it easier than ever to get a fresh pizza to your door. Customer satisfaction ratings hit an all-time high as efficiency and quality soar together.
